Sarah Nelson

Job title:
PhD Student

Sarah’s research bridges the fields of economics and engineering to look at how the framing of climate costs affect policy action. Her research considers whether current metrics sufficiently capture the long-term impacts of business as usual emissions pathways, and how policies might be different under an alternative framework. In addition, Sarah is looking into the rate and scale of a roll-out of demand side mitigation strategies.
Sarah completed a dual Bachelors of Science (Physics)/ Bachelors of Commerce (Economics) at the University of Auckland and a Masters in economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, before moving to Cambridge in 2018.
