Søren has about 20 years professional experience working on sustainability in the fashion, clothing and textile sectors. His work includes:
- thesis on “Recycling of process water from the reactive dyeing of cotton”
- senior consultancy at the Danish Technological Institute, Clothing and Textile (1995-2004)
- university research at the University of Cambridge as SRA on the 2 year “Well Dressed?” project (2004-2006)
- working at the major Danish multi-brand fashion company as Global Environmental Coordinator (2007 - 2014)
Søren’s experience over the past about 20 years also includes field work in China, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Turkey, Italy, Romania, Poland and Denmark including visits to more than 100 production sites. He is main and co-author of more than 10 publications about sustainability in the clothing and textile sectors.
