Lili is an economist interested in analysing demand behaviours with microeconomic models and exploring energy demand reduction solutions which are environmentally and economically sustainable. She is currently working on a multi-disciplinary project for economizing material efficiency in the construction industry.
Lili holds a PhD in Economics (2011) from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in Germany. During 2011 and 2013, she worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Central and Eastern Europe (IAMO) in Germany. Following this, she moved to the Centre for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn, German as a senior researcher and project coordinator. Prior to joining in University of Cambridge, she was a research fellow at School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and Leverhulme Centre for Integrative Research on Agriculture and Health (LCIRAH), University of London.
