Danielle was a research associate working within the Material Efficiency theme, where she led the work on construction – promoting and researching reduced material demand opportunities in the built environment. This included working with design teams to implement strategies, following and documenting any barriers encountered. Danielle also has previous post-doctoral experience investigating the environmental impact of different insulation choices for use in external wall insulation and a PhD in design for deconstruction and material reuse – specifically exploring the embodied carbon benefits of this strategy.
